Privacy at AutoFood
How we use the information needed to plan meals and prepare groceries.

Account and plan data
We store a passkey credential ID and public key, account session, country and postcode, household preferences, diet description, meal plan, ratings, and information needed to prepare a basket. Diet text may include allergies or intolerances. We do not receive your passkey private key.
Connected services
If you connect Cookidoo or a retailer, sign-in details are encrypted before they reach the server. An authorized AutoFood process decrypts them to sign in to the provider you chose and keeps a separate browser session. Cookidoo and the retailer receive actions performed on your accounts. AutoFood does not place or pay for orders.
Hosting and AI
Vercel hosts the app and API, Neon stores app data, and a process on Fly.io runs the browser session. If you enable AI sharing, relevant excerpts of diet text, recipes, ingredients, or product listings may go through Vercel AI Gateway to a model provider to prepare suggestions. Passwords are not sent to the model. Turning off consent stops future AI use; basic planning still works. AI does not certify allergy safety.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and plan data until you delete your account. You can download app data in web app Settings. You can delete your account, saved sign-in details, and browser profile in web or iOS Settings. The app shows deletion progress and does not report completion before profile removal. Backups and technical logs may remain longer under infrastructure providers' schedules or legal duties; ask the contact address for the period applicable to your data. Deleting AutoFood does not remove entries already saved in Cookidoo or a retailer.
Your choices
You can change preferences and withdraw permission for future AI use in diet settings. Ask for access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@leapstudio.dev. You confirm delivery, checkout, and payment with the retailer.
